Because Manila Does Not Come With A Manual

This was actually the tagline of the origin of Manual To Lyf Blog which is originally a book then turned blog and eventually a network of blogs of different genres. And for this year 2018, I guess it is time to try something new, something bolder, and something eye catching for my audience. Think of this as the youngest child among the blog siblings. Yet I see them as important parts of my blogging life.

Now going back to the statement, Manila has been immortalized in many mediums and endless stories which is a many as the people who dwell in the city. Manila has now expanded as a dense region with influence with all regions around it. Manila has indeed earned its title as the capital of Filipino life.

Despite far from the natural beauty of the islands and provinces, Manila has its own charm in terms of concrete, people, and festivities. Culture shaped and influenced the rivers, hills and plains that traverse the National Capital Region. As a progressive metropolis and now emerging world city, it now faces the challenges of progress yet it still is vastly filled with poverty, chaos, and injustice.

Well, no city is perfect, and people still thrive and survive with smiles on our faces despite living in so many city problems like traffic, criminality, and inefficiency. Probably that is the secret why Manila is so charming, we got used to it and knew that despite all these negative aspects, we found gold in them.

Let Manual MNL be that guide for your, whether you are already a local, a first timer, a tourist, or an observer. Let us be your guide to the Beautiful Chaos of Manila. The capital of the Philippines, where everything is indeed more fun here.
